Dear Poetry,
Lately my pen has been ready but your words have been elusive,
I am looking for you constantly but all my results are inconclusive,
They say you have writer's block when you can't find the words,
But this has never happened to me i thinkto myself this is absurd,
You tease me with a many good lines but they all for different topics,
I don't believe i've did you wrong so the holding back you doing you need to stop it,
I sit by idly and try to resucitate you cause sometimes you are as dead as hip-hop,
But I will keep you going even if it's a little faint and quiet as a tear drop,
At one point they wanted to throw you out like old food in a refrigerator,
But you were revived by me and others whose pens serve as a defibrillator,
You now walk around with ya head up high and yet you still deprive me,
I done my best for you so come to my aid and revive me,
I see your presence returning to me cause my words now all fit,
As i go over each and every line i get more excited cause this is my shyt,
Now with you back with me i can write all day and night,
The way the words are formulating in my mind i thinki might,
I wrote a poem about you and now here is a letter,
I am so grateful for the work that me and you accomplish together,
So in conclusion dearest poetry once again you've done me right,
I'd like to thank you for your inspiration and help with me for accomplishing this write.
